LETS TALK LETS CONNECT session started with a brief introduction about the initiatives of amazing human beings and the facilitator POORNIMA.
WHAT IS POSITIVE THINKING?
“Watch your thoughts, they become your words; watch your words, they become your actions; watch your actions, they become your character; watch your character, it becomes your destiny.” So with positive thoughts move towards your goal with a peaceful mind and heart.
EMOTIONS OF HUMANS:
The emotional scale of humans is divided into two, upward spiral and downward spiral.
UPWARD SPIRAL : Joy, love, knowledge, appreciation, enthusiasm, optimism, belief, happiness, gratitude.
DOWNWARD SPIRAL : Anger, revenge, rage, jealousy, insecurity, grief, depression, fear.
Top most positive vibe is gratitude and the negative vibe is fear. Engage yourself in activities in which you are interested. Because boredom is a major factor that drives us towards negativity.
CONTROLLING THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND:
Communicating to your subconscious mind with positive affirmations eliminates fear and negative thoughts. It also controls the threshold for conscious perception. Train your mind to see the good in everything. Positivity is a choice. The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.
When you visualize your success and happiness, the universe will grant you all success. All your creative power is here and now, all you have to do is chill out and allow. If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change the way you think about it. Minimizing contact with negative people and triggers keeps you sane and positive.
WAYS TO HANDLE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS:
- Be conscious about your thoughts. As soon as you find yourself thinking of negativity, stop yourself from it.
- Keep busy. Keeping your hands and mind occupied helps keep off negative thoughts.
- Get rest. Lack of sleep largely affects your mood, making you feel anxious, irritated and angry.
- Listen to music. Listening to your favorite music for 25 minutes a day can bring about a great change and have positive effects on health and mind.
A positive attitude gives you power over your circumstances instead of your circumstances having power over you.
The session ended with heartfelt gratitude to the facilitator and positive vibes shared to all.
